Basis of Rheumatic Disease
•  Arthritis is not directly caused by infectious bacteria.
•  Release of lysosomal enzyme by leukocytes undergoing
phagocytosis to kill invading microorganisms causes
degradation of cartilage and bone.
•  Lysosomes as complex sacs of toxic chemicals for cellular
digestion processes and others (e.g., roles in embryology as
well).
•  The 20-somewhat antibody proteins bind to foreign materials
and initiate degradation of the microorganisms (beaconing
behavior).
•  Easily found coupled with another disease, such as Lyme’s.
