Some factoring is involved in the back of the sheet. The intent is to ask whether or not you know how to factor. To factor, the first step is to take out common factors, in order to binomialize.

When doing integration by partial fractions, and you have your A, B, and C, to figure out the equation where you say this=A(what)+B(what2) etc., you have to multiply each A/B/C variable by the factor that makes it equate to the common denominator that you were using earlier.
