I'm thinking of starting teams on a number of BOINC projects. The
purpose of these teams it to promote transhumanism. I want ideas on a
name I can use for all the teams and if any of you have any projects in
mind. Here's a list and their site of the ones I personally think
would benefit the transhumanist movement. All of these do research in
biotechnology, nano-technology and artificial intelligence. I believe
if any one in the transhumanist movement expects to have any
significant breakthroughs in these fields by 2050, distributed
computing is the most advanced, efficient technology to do this
with. Also, a promotion "campaign" using sites like digg.com,
slashdot.org or other similar sites would be an idea.
