I'll be getting back to the other points you were making, but I agree 
here and point out that the oscomak/skdb combo is really just the 
realization of a distributed asynchronous concurrent versioning system 
(git, cvs, svn, subversion, monoclone, ...) with the ability to branch, 
merge, split, etc., of whatever project you're working on, plus 
aggregation and pingbacks, plus a certain flare of formalization and 
standard specifications (as good practice) so that automated programs 
(agx-get, AutoScholar, agx-make, autospec, cupsd) can come across and 
use them; in truth, there's not much that we, individually have to 
code, but rather it's putting all of the pieces together and showing 
others how to do the same. 

Paul, I can't help but think that it might be best if we talked over the 
phone sometime, it would help synchronize our ideas, and frankly I 
haven't had enough time to type them all out, but I suspect we're on 
nearly the same wavelength that a few minutes will be beneficial.
