Mac,Hi. Thanks a lot for your last message. Apologies if you receive this message twice. Do you have an idea of what types of garage-type experiments you're thinking of doing? I'm running into a roadblock in trying to decide what equipment i need. Isn't the first step to decide what experiment to tackle? After that's decided then it'd be easier to get the necessary equipment. Maybe we can decide on some "garage-type" experiments and then form aDNA-hacker competition around those...similar to the iGEMS format?  BTW, if anyone is in the Calif Bay Area and would like to collaborate onsome wet-lab experiments, please let me know.
