On that subject,

The WTEC BCI paper from the other day, has some information on how to 
fabricate the microelectrode arrays. So it's useful. I plan to go 
through the references and pull as many PDFs as I can together to 
create a formal archive of the cited papers. Undoubtedly going to be 
useful.

I have also learned that home fabbing is going to be easier and easier. 
The hardest part is going to be the chemical vapor deposition process 
(CVD) where a very, very hot saline-atmosphere chamber is needed, and 
in general I am unfamiliar with these techniques. Perhaps they are 
similiar to ultrahigh vacuums, another topic I have spent some time on.
