Brain atlas projects

See the human brain atlas project and the mouse brain atlas project ([1], [2], [3], ...). In the context of the Blue Gene project, brain atlas + genetic expression profiling via gene chips and microarrays is important so that we can track down which genes cause which ion channels so that we can go simulate them (ion channel simulators), allowing whole brain simulation in computational neuroscience and so on.
